I guess I should start with a little about me (pretty cliche I know). So my name is Danny and I am currently an Undergrad in my Sophomore year at the University of Florida (goooo gators!). I’m majoring in Zoology and I am pre-vet, so I hope to apply and make it into vet school then specialize in zoo medicine. Something about working with animals that people rarely get to be around make me love zoo medicine. I also love the fact that I will be helping animals that could be on the endangered species list, where each individual could be the difference between extinction or a comeback story. Which brings me to why I started this blog in the first place. I want to bring awareness to some animals that aren’t always thought of as important, and to others that are. I want people to realize that they can help in simple ways. I want people to see the effect of what happens if a species is lost. I want people to become more aware. I want people to care.
I’ll also throw in some entertaining and personal stories of course in hopes that everyone will enjoy this journey through conservation as much as I will.
Signing out,
Danny
